DIY Seafood Bowl at Aomori | Aomori Hokkaido Travel Guide

600KM OF TRAVEL, FOUR TRAINS, THREE CITIES, $260 WORTH OF TRAIN TICKETS

In this Vlog of our 2016 July Japan Trip, we travel from Akita to Aomori on the JR East Limited Express “Tsugaru” (つがる） in the Green Car (グリーン車）, then make a brief stop over at Aomori（青森）. There, we make our own “Nokkedon” or DIY Seafood Bowl at the Aomori Gyusai Center (青森魚菜センター), before hopping on the Hokkaido Shinkansen (北海道新幹線、はやぶさ）to Shin-Hakodate Hokuto and changing for the JR Hokkaido “Super Hokuto” (スーパ北斗）bound for Sapporo.

At Sapporo, 600km later after checking in the Spa Hotel Susukino, we head down the main street of Susukino (すすきの）to try out some Ramen at the Ramen Alley (ラメん横丁）.
