Hello everyone, and welcome to the “walking time” youtube walking tour channel.
Remember the last video. Last time we came to Ligongdi at Jinji Lake, Suzhou, China. Because it was rainy last time and the shooting environment was not good, I came to Suzhou Ligongdi again today to film the parts that were not shot last time.
The only long embankment in the lake in Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park, China, is 1,400 meters in length and was built by Li Chaoqiong, the magistrate of Yuanhe County during the Guangxu period. The Ligong Dike is elegant and exquisite as a whole, and the glorious scene of merchants gathering at the time can still be glimpsed from the ancient inscriptions on the Dike. The landscape project around Jinji Lake where Ligongdi is located is designed by the American Pan Asia Yidao Company, one of the world’s most leading landscape design and regional planning consultants. It has now become a successful model of the domestic mixed hydrophilic community, forming a huge-scale open modern urban ecological park.

  1. I'm a foreigner. I will possibly start my PhD at XJTLU in March 2022. I don't know any Mandarin/Chinese, will I survive there?
