Como, an Italian city situated in the north of Italy [and border to Switzerland], in the Lombardia regio. This city is know for its beautiful Lake of Como and it’s promenade.
The promenade by Lake Como is known to be surrounded by villas, in particular Villa Olmo. From Como, one can take a ferry to cross the Lake Como to go to other towns such as
Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio, which are all situated by the Lake Como.
The city itself is also known its cathedral, the Duomo and the old city center.
From Como, one can take the train to Switzerland, in particular the Ticino canton [Lugano, Locarno and Bellinzona] and it takes around 35 minutes to get to Lugano
and 1hr to Locarno.
