An early morning drive from Mt. Kirigamine (Mt. Kurumayama) to Suwa city, Nagano, Japan.
The drive starts at Lake Shirakaba observatory in Kirigamine and goes down to Suwa city (Alt. 759m) through Pref. Rd. 40 and Venus Line. This is a remake of the Kirigamine video previously posted.

Fujimidai Observatory is one of the best observatories where you can see Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, and the Central Alps at once. The freezing temperature (- 15 degrees) allowed diamond dust to welcome us there on this trip.

Many take photos of Mt. Tateshina and Mt. Fuji in winter from an altitude of 1900m.
Venus Line is my favorite driving route.
Utsukushigahara Plateau is gorgeous , but unfortunately that section is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall.
99% of cases i don't like snow, but this is the 1% of the provability. Beautiful country.
