In this video, I take a walk around Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. This large park is located in the center of Hiroshima, Japan. It was built to remember Hiroshima as the world’s first city to experience a nuclear attack. The park is also dedicated to the 140,000 people who died in the attack. Before the bombing, the area where the park is located was the center of Hiroshima.

Inside the park, there are a number of memorials and monuments including the A-bomb dome (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Children’s Peace Monument, Peace Flame, Peace Bells, Atomic Bomb Memorial Mound, Cenotaph for Korean Victims, and more. The park is free to enter. It’s just a large city park that you can freely walk around.

The main attraction of the park is Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. The museum is designed to educate visitors about the bombing. The museum costs 200 yen to enter (around $1.40)

In this video, we’ll take a walk around Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and view the various monuments, and memorials. I visited Hiroshima during the middle of the summer. The park was beautiful. It’s meticulously maintained.

My only complaint was that the museum was extremely crowded. It was so busy that it was impossible to view all of the exhibits. I literally couldn’t walk through some parts of the museum because it was absolutely packed full. I don’t know how they could solve this issue but it was pretty bad.
